Customer's Fault Description
Seeming dead remote. desperate for a repair as its the the only device we were left for the Garage door.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on inspection the LED was missing, when opened there was tin foil in the battery compartment, this had shorted out all of the batteries making them totally drained.
A LED was fitted and the button contacts cleaned due to contaminated contacts. The battery terminal bars were then bent back into position and when batteries were inserted full functionality was restored.
A ser of LR41 batteries will be supplied fitted on return.
