Wont turn treadmill on. I do have another remote that does work though so it is definitely the remote which is faulty.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Treadmill remote (hom com treadmill) arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead. This was due to the common issue of hte battery terminals being bent out of place effectively shorting out the power source.
The terminals were bent back into position and when re-tested was found to be functioning as per normal (see testing video).
A Duracell CR2025 battery will be supplied fitted on return. It is very important to take note of the terminals position when it comes to change the battery in the future as it is easy enough to bend these terminals again if the battery is not inserted correctly (this is a design issue of the remote).
