Customer's Fault Description
remote not working correctly, so tried to reset as per the capel YouTube clip

All the lights on the remote don’t flash when pushing power/+/- at the same time (only far left came on)
<br />
I continued the sequence anyway
<br />
Lights didn’t flash after +/-
<br />
After switching off, then on and pushing the light button - still no response from lights or power on the remote
<br />
However the fan comes on when pushing positive (and turns up & down) but can’t be turned off and the main power switch needs to be used to turn it off
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to transmit on all buttons as per normal but would not enter "pairing" mode
All buttons were replaced as there was a slight resistance on one of them which was thought to have caused the issue but this did not restore the ability to program the control.
A spare PCB was located and fitted which then would enter pairing mode (see testing video).
The customer may be required to pair this item with the receiver on return.
