The display is just coming up with the background light - usually it is showing the current temperature and settings options, but nothing is showing. When I click the power button then it comes up with a backlight - nothing is on the display.

Musical Fidelity M6s Repair
The amp does not respond at all when I point the remote at the IRS sensor. I have replaced batteries on the remote and dimmed the lights in the room when I press the buttons on the remote, in case light interference is the issue. I moved recently and the remote may have been banged about a bit but there is no visible damage. I also tried cleaning the IRS lens on the amp, but no change.

Motocaddy S7 Repair
The remote control works correctly if it is connected to the charger and switched on at the mains. It does not work as soon as the power is switched off. Therefore it does not appear to be able to hold any charge. Also, the connection for the charger seems a little far from the opening of the charge port. The micro usb needs to be pushed very firmly into the unit to get far enough in. Therefore the pcb with the connection may not be in quite the correct position. Also, the blue light to indicate charging flashes intermittently. These issues may all be related so I wanted to list them all.

I dropped the remote and apiece of plastic dropped out in bits. I replaced it with a small piece of wood to keep the batteries in place but it only worked for one occasion and then stopped altogether.

remote not working correctly, so tried to reset as per the capel YouTube clip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmyOLsVDK7k <br /><br /> All the lights on the remote don’t flash when pushing power/+/- at the same time (only far left came on) <br /> I continued the sequence anyway <br /> Lights didn’t flash after +/- <br /> After switching off, then on and pushing the light button - still no response from lights or power on the remote <br /> However the fan comes on when pushing positive (and turns up & down) but can’t be turned off and the main power switch needs to be used to turn it off
