Customer's Fault Description
Won’t turn fire on or off. Even replace the batteries and still won’t turn off.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
When opened the PCB was showing signs of corrosion from a battery leak (see image). The print was cleaned up and a broken track was found, this was bridge with wire which restored full functionality.
The battery cover was missing part of its retaining clip meaning it wont stay in place, this isnt a fault and replacement covers cant be provided due to lack of spares but a small piece of tape is all that is needed to hold it in place.
