This Brake Tester remote arrived safely from Cambridge and on testing was found to have 3 buttons non responding.

When opened this was found to be due to the large IC creeping out of its socket making most of the pins not contact the PCB.  This happens when the item is dropped over time.  The IC was re-seated and a bit of hot glue used to prevent this from happening again.  Full functionality was restored.
