Customer's Fault Description
1. A while back the P9 battery clip became loose so I spliced in a new clip<br /><br />
2. Even with a new battery shows battery low and won’t operate fire - could be the voltage regulator chip problem .<br /><br />
If you could replace the battery clip properly and diagnose the battery charge / regulator fault I would appreciate it .
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This fireplace remote arrived safely from North Yorkshire and on inspection was found to have an erroneous battery indicator and a damaged battery cable.
The battery cable was replaced and the 7133 regulator which restored full functionality.
