Customer's Fault Description
The receiver in the fire is not registering the 'up' command from the remote control and is not opening the gas valve as required. Both buttons register as operational on remote, they both illuminate the LED on the remote. The receiver illuminates with the 'down' command from the remote but not with the 'up' command
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote adn receiver arrived safely and on testing the remote was found to be functioning as normal with our test bench receiver.
Unfortunately the receiver has suffered a battery leak (see image), due to this a repair to the receiver is not possible.
