Customer's Fault Description
The 'big' button has stopped working that controls the up and down of the door. Sometimes it doesnt open or shut the door. But then ramdomly it will open the door. I think its just the button on the PCB as the remote appears to work fine, when you can get the button to work.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Merlin garage door remote controller arrived safely from Caerphilly and on testing was found to have a collapsed top button which was intermittently shorting.
Both buttons were replaced which restored full functionality (see testing video)
