Customer's Fault Description
It simply does not work - I have changed the batteries with no effect - if I look at the IR emitter with a mobile phone camera it does not appear to be transmitting and I suspect the led is not working. I have a spare remote and that works fine so there is no problem with the receiver in the control amplifier
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This HiFi audio control amplifier remote arrived safely form Devon and on testing was found to be dead.
This was found to be due to a faulty oscillator, a replacement was fitted which restored full functionality.
