Customers Fault Description : No power even when I've changed the battery

This fireplace controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have no response from any of the buttons The case was found to be very loose at the button (possible from being dropped). Also the code dial looks to have been altered due to scuff marks in the arrow pointer.
The dead issue was found to be due to bad buttons, all buttons were replaced which resorted full functionality.
Please note that a Duracell battery will be supplied fitted on return, if the remote doesn't effect the heater on testing the customer is to move the code dial at the back of the remote round one step at a time and test until the correct code is selected (this cannot be done here as it needs to be in the vicinity of the heater)
