Gazco Studio gas fire Remote Repair Details

Model : Studio gas fire

Customers Fault Description : I've put in a new 9 volt battery and the battery light on the display keeps flashing - this then makes the fire not sync anymore and to turn it off I have to turn the gas off at the mains.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This fireplace remote arrived safely from Asthall Leigh and on testing was found to have and erroneous battery indicator.

This was due to a faulty 7133 regulator, a replacement was fitted and the battery cable replaced.

Full functionality was restored.
