Customer's Fault Description
I've put in a new 9 volt battery and the battery light on the display keeps flashing - this then makes the fire not sync anymore and to turn it off I have to turn the gas off at the mains.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This fireplace remote arrived safely from Asthall Leigh and on testing was found to have and erroneous battery indicator.
This was due to a faulty 7133 regulator, a replacement was fitted and the battery cable replaced.
Full functionality was restored.
