Handset is draining batteries within a week.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This heater remote controller arrived safely form Waterlooville and on testing was found to drain batteries due to a 1.6k resistance across the battery terminals.  This was due to a blown capacitor.  The capacitor was replaced which restored full functionality.
