Customer's Fault Description
not picking up on buttons bottom and left
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Hormann remote arrived safely from Swansea and on testing was found to have a very weak signal on all buttons.
When opened the issue was found to be that the RF aerial coil was totally broken away form the PCB (see image).
The RF coil was refitted which restored a strong solid signal at 40.698Mhz as normal functionality (see testing video).
It is not known if the customer detached the aerial when trying to open the device but other than the detached aerial no issue could be found with the buttons / signal.
