Customer's Fault Description
You have (THANKFULLY) repaired this item previously. the batteries died last week, and after replacing them (with TWO new sets) the whole thing is DOA, the LED doesn't light at all when the function button is pressed. we're currently locked out of our garage.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead.

One of the battery terminal pads was found to have some surface corrosion, this was etched clean which restored partial functionality.  Two of the buttons were very sluggish in operation.  This was due to contaminated pads, these were etched clean which restored full functionality.
