Customers Fault Description : The battery change symbol flashes even when a new battery is fitted. hopefully it will not lose pairing, otherwise I will have to get the heating service engineer to sort.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Fireplace remote control handset arrived safely from Marlow and on testing was found to have an erroneous battery indicator.  This was due to a faulty regulator, a replacement was fitted which restored full functionality.

The battery cable was also replaced.
