Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Triton remote arrived safely and on inspection the usual cracked facia was present, this allows moisture to enter the remote and corrode the PCB traces, these facias are not available as spares.
On testing the remote was confirmed to be dead.
When opened there was a small amount of corrosion but no open circuits. After carrying out a component test it was concluded that the main IC was at fault making a repair not possible.
