RAIS Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : RAIS

Customers Fault Description : It seems that the control was dropped or battery loaded carelessly
Terminal broken away for mounting on pcb
Terminal is inside battery compartment
Not certain that that is the only problem due to no power to test so kindly check functionality if you are able to do.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Rais remote arrived safely from Poole and on inspection was found to have a detached battery terminal.

The terminal was soldered firmly back into place which restored full functionality.  The display does have a visible angle issue whereby when looking straight on at the screen the display is dim but tilt it by a few degrees and it is perfect. The only way this can be remedied is to obtain a replacement screen which are not available as spares.  This does not effect the functionality of the remote.
