Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Gas Fire remote control arrived safely from Broadstone and on testing was found to be intermittent in functionality.
The 3.3 volt regulator was found to be the cause of the issues, the voltage produced ranged from 1 v to 6 v instead of the steady 3.3 volts. A replacement regulator was fitted and the battery cable replaced.
Full consistent functionality was restored.
Please note that when a battery is first inserted the very first button press will be non responsive, this is normal functionality.
