Nothing happens at all . It just stopped working . Prior to this it was a bit erratic. Squeezing the back and front sometimes helped . I have a quad cd player with a separate remote ( only switches system on and controls the cd player . This works fine . Batteries are new .

Hi there, the remote stoped working one day, tried new batteries but it didn't help. dismantled it to see if I could find an issue. (I couldn't) and put it back together. Unfortunately when I put it back together I also snapped the metal bit that connects to the AA battery!! SO there are 2 issues!
