Customer's Fault Description
installed new battery but all buttons not working. No red light coming on when you press any button.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote control arrived safely from Peterborough and on inspection the battery cover was missing, this cannot be replaced as spares are not available.
On testing the remote was confirmed to be dead. On opening the issue was found to be the oscillator which had broken away from the PCB (see image). The oscillator was replaced which restored full functionality.
