Customer's Fault Description
The instructions say that the LED light should come on when you press the red button but there's no light comes on even after we replace the battery. The Motor mover has not been used for years and the remote had the batteries in it when we opened it, so may be a battery connection issue, but don't know?
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Motor Mover remote control arrived safely from Forres and on testing was confirmed to not respond to its double power button press.
On opening this was found to be due to corrosion in the print caused by a battery leak (see image). The print was reworked which restored full functionality and the remote now powers on each time the power button is double pressed.
