Customer's Fault Description
When buttons are pressed no beeps. No signal sent to the fire. So doesn’t switch on or off.
Changed batteries. Still not working. Then noticed the black wire in the battery cable has broken off from the solder.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Gas fire remote control arrived safely from Birmingham and on inspection was found to have a damaged battery cable making the ermoet dead.
This was replaced which restored power but the regulator was also found t o be faulty, a replacement was fitted which restored full functionality.
