Customer's Fault Description
It does not cause the fire to light up. The red LED does not light up. The battery in the remote control is over 9 Volts and the batteries in the receiver are all over 1.5 Volts
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This G6R-H4S-N2n Remote control for a gas fire arrived safely from Baildon and on testing was found to have erratic functionality.
This was due to the 3.3v regulator giving random voltages, the regulator and battery cable were both replaced. Full functionality was restored.
