Customer's Fault Description
I put in a new battery into the remote and the red light continues to stay on. I can’t use the buttons and can’t turn the fire on or off. Normally red light on remote only shows when the button is pressed.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Electric fire remote control arrived safely from Durham and on testing was confirmed to transmit without a button being pressed.
This was due to a short circuit button, the button was replaced which restored full functionality.
