Customer's Fault Description
The flame button at the top left is missing (has broken off) so there is a hole on the remote where the button is supposed to be. I need a replacement button for this part I think. I can get the fire on but only when I poke something on the bit inside that the button normally presses onto.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Remote control of an electric fire arrived safely from Doncaster and on inspection the button cap was missing from the power button.
The remote rattled when shook, when opened th ebutton cap was found inside the control. This was glued into place and the buttons themselves replaced.
Replacement cases for these items cannot be obtained which is when the original button cap had to be repaired.
