Customer's Fault Description
Remote works if placed within 1cm of receiver. Zero response if further away. So the system works but either the remote is providing very weak signal or the sensor has too low sensitivity
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Gas fire remote control arrived safely from Southwick and on testing was found to not transmit a signal.

This was found to be due to a faulty transducer, a replacement was fitted which restored full functionality.
