Customer's Fault Description
Water ingress several times. This time dry out not fully successful. Led blinks and runs down 12v battery overnight. Remote will still operate in a fashion.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote control arrived safely from Birmingham and on testing was confirmed to be transmitting without a button being pressed.
On opening two of the buttons were found to have resistance across its contacts.
These buttons were replaced which restored full functionality.
