Customer's Fault Description
Just spoken to engineer. It’s dead, I have replaced the battery but still the red light on the top left does not come when pressing any of the buttons. Consequently the fire will not switch on remotely.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This fireplace remote control arrived safely form Liverpool and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
This was due to a faulty regulator, the regulator and battery cable was replaced which restored full functionality.
Please note that when the battery is first inserted into this remote the first button press will be non functioning, this is normal and all following button presses will work as normal.
