Remote Fixer Repair Response

This heater remote control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead, the Oscillator and IR LED were both replaced which sadly did not restore functionality.

This led to the conclusion that the main IC is at fault which on this remote is encased within black resin making a repair not possible.
