Customer's Fault Description
Remote does not work. It does not increase or decrease flame. Sometimes it goes 'crazy' and just turns the flame up high and will not turn flame down again
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to have erratic functionality.

This was due to the voltage regulator giving random voltages and also the top buttons being low in resistance.

The buttons ,regulator and battery cable were all replaced which restored normal functionality.  The remote was then tested over a 2 day period with no further issues being replicated
