Customer's Fault Description
The “Narcom 4” started to fail some time ago. I used contact cleaner from the outside and the remote started to work again. Unfortunately, the remote stopped working again and contact cleaner did not cure the problem the second time around. I believe non of the buttons work.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This CD player remote control arrived safely from Preston and on testing was found to be dead.

On opening there was corrosion around the min IC from a battery leak (see image).  The print was reworked which restored full functionality
