Customer's Fault Description
No signal between the remote and receiver. I suspect the receiver is the problem. The gas fire works fine manually. All batteries have been changed.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Gas Fire remote and receiver arrived safely and on inspection the battery cover for the receiver was missing, this cannot be replaced.
On testing the remote was found to not transmit a signal. This was due to a faulty transducer in the handset, a replacement transducer was fitted which restored full functionality.
No fault could be found with the receiver.
