Customer's Fault Description
Problem where the electrical wire goes into remote. The wires do not appear to be broken visually but the unit doesn't work. The grommet has deteriorated though.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Single bed remote control arrived safely and on inspectio nwas foudn to have a damaged cable and worn button contacts (see image).
A replacement straight cable was fitted (we cannot get the curly kind) and then the PCB cleared of contaminates and a replacement conductive pad glued into place.
