Customer's Fault Description
Purchased as an ex-display (as new) unit so have not had it in working condition.
On insertion of batteries remote backlight lit. Volume up/ down power on /off worked.
Successfully Went into program mode (to assign Panasonic TV) and entered a few numbers. Then remote became unresponsive. Batteries out/ in/change nothing helped. Tried again later and this time worked again for a short period time tried a factory reset but only certain random buttons responded. Then it died again. It is not the batteries as several were used and are still in use in current RC.

Remote Fixer Repair Response
This ARC L112RC remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to not transmit a signal.
On opening there was corrosion in the print from a battery leak.
The open circuits from the corrosion were reworked which restored full functionality.
