Customers Fault Description : Remote control is not working
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Electric fire remote control arrived safely and on testing was intermittently transmitting without a button being pressed.
This was due to worn button contacts that had shorted out the button contacts and also intermittent power due to a corroded battery terminals.
The PCB was cleared of all contaminants and then replacement conductive pads glued under each of the buttons. The terminal was then replaced. Full functionality was restored.
