Pioneer VSX-LX53 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Main 'Receiver' power on/off button not working. Also 'Zone 2' and 'Zone 3' buttons not working but may be related to main power button. Generally all buttons feel 'sticky' when pressed.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Amplifier / receiver for TV cinema sound remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to have many sticky non functioning buttons.
When opened there was a large amount of contamination over the pcb / button array.
The PCB was cleared of all contaminants as well as the button pads. This restored full functionality.
