Customer's Fault Description
I changed the battery and it was working fine but then stopped- I think it is a loose internal connection.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Kitchen extractor hood arrived safely from Hertford and on inspection there was a split in the back and the spring terminal for the battery was extended.

This was forcing the battery upwards which was the cause of the split back, the terminal was reworked and the back case glued.

When a battery was then inserted full functionality was restored.  A Duracell battery will be supplied fitted on return.
