Infinity 780FL Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Despite changing batteries, the remote isn’t working properly. Buttons don’t seem to be responding and actioning the requests. Sometimes the remote will just reset to 00:00 on the time even though the batteries have not been removed.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Gas Fireplace remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to have intermittent power. This was due to the terminals being misaligned causing a poor battery connection.
The Terminals were re-aligned and then hot glue used to secure them. Full functionality was restored.
