DATATOOL MOTORCYCLE ALARM Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : transponder fob is not talking to the alarm unit on the bike. The red light within the fob does not uluminate, 2 x new batteries have been installed 16/3/24 but still not working. when red lights decides to work, fob works and activates the alarm system

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Bike alarm fob arrived safely from Ipswich and on testing was confirmed to not respond to the button presses.

This was due to a corroded terminal, there was a tiny section of surface corrosion which was making a battery connection intermittent.

The terminals were etched clean which restored full functionality.
