Customer's Fault Description
The usual: frayed, split shroud on 8-core cable at handset strain relief.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This recliner remote control arrived safely from Newbury and on inspection was found to have a damaged cable.

A replacement straight cable was fitted (we cannot get the curly kind).  The rest of the remote was tested as ok.
