Remote Fixer Repair Response

This remote and receiver arrived safely, the remote was found to be missing its batery cover.  This cover cannot be replaced as spares are not available.

The remote was found to not be transmitting.  This was due to a faulty transducer in the handset, the transducer was replaced which restored full functionality.

The receiver was found to be working BUT it has suffered a battery leak (see image).  Once these receivers suffer a battery leak at any time it can develop faults such as not being able to turn the heater up, down or both and also at any time it could turn the heater on without intervention.  We do not touch the receivers when they have suffered a leak.  

The remote is fully guaranteed for 12 months but the receiver is not covered. 

Replacement receivers can be found on eBay.
