Customers Fault Description : The remote screen was flickering and eventualy stopped working. (Changed batteries, cleaned some of the corrosion).
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Smart Thermostat Remote Control arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead.
The internal battery terminals were corroded from a battery leak, these were replaced but then it was found that the regulator was faulty. A replacement was fitted which restored full functionality.
