Customer's Fault Description
The remote has a faulty screen but it used to operate the window without issue. But one day it just decoupled from the window and I foolishly pressed the reset button so now it’s completely useless! I bought a new velux remote (a newer model GLI330 or something) but it’s not backward compatible so I’ll need to try to get this remote fixed. This is a Velux 833212 remote.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Skylight window remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to have a faulty display. A replacement display was fitted which restored full functionality. The display fitted does have a circular pattern on it (see image), this is normal and happens to most displays in these handsets and with the lack of brand new displays it is the only option. This does not effect functionality.
