Customer's Fault Description
The on/off button has an intermittent fault, all other buttons work fine. Having taken a look inside, there is a conductor track on the circuit board which appears to have a very tiny section under the power on/off button discoloured. Cleaning this small section cures the problem temporarily.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This motor mover remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to have poor power button response.
This was due to corrosion within the print and on the button contacts. The print was etched back and remasked. Then the contacts of the PCB treated with Deoxit. A replacement conductive pads was then glued under the power button.
