Frequently used buttons v.slow to work, i.e. Slow/Search (both directions), Play, Pause, Skip +60s, and a few others that are not so bad.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Blu-Ray Disc Recorder (DMR-BWT1700) remote control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have some non functioning / sluggish buttons.

When opened this was found to be due to a large amount of contamination over the button array (see image).  This was all cleared up and then the pads heat treated.  This restored full functionality to all buttons.
