Customer's Fault Description
The controller doesn't power up - the screen is blank, and the buttons do not activate the window motor. There are no physical signs of damage, so it is potentially moisture-related as the window is in a bathroom. Alternatively, my son to the cleaning lady may have knocked it on the floor.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Velux Roof Window remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to have power as per normal operation straight out of the package with the customers batteries.

The remote was opened to check for defects but no issue could be replicated.

The handset was then tested over the weekend with no loss of power / functionality.
