Customer's Fault Description
I dropped the hand set and the batteries fell out. Ever since it’s been temperamental. For example when I try to use it sometimes it won’t come on. Other times if I squeeze the back where the batteries go it helps. It’s as though something is loose. Also my heating has come on a couple of times even though the hand set states it’s off!
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This boiler remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to have very lose batteries making power intermittent.
This was due to the internal terminals being impacted from being dropped.
The terminals were replaced and then reinforced using solder.
This restored full functionality.
