Customer's Fault Description
Appears to be a replacement for the Powakaddy remote supplied for a RobboKaddy.
Circuit board is getting power, but the led doesn’t illuminate when buttons are pressed. A bit of ‘fiddling’ with the + and R button simultaneously managed to get life out of the led, but the don’t function independently (let alone all other buttons)
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Golf trolley remote arrived safely and on testing was confi8rmed to have a faulty button array. The array was peeled apart and reworked which restored full functionality.
The battery cable was also replaced as it was damaged. There were also a few suspect solder joints on the main IC, the solder was reflowed as a precaution.
