Pressing left and right buttons lights up LED on the remote but doesn’t move the trolley

This golf trolley remote control arrived safely and on testing only the "deep" press activation of the left and right buttons would illuminate (the red LED).  The left and right green activations (soft press) were not functioning as well as the rest of the buttons.

This was due to contamination within the button facia, the facia was carefully peeled apart and reworked which restored full functionality to all buttons.
